Product Overview
The Abangdun 1700W 120V Wok Induction Cooktop is a Countertop Burners product by Abangdun. It features not a traditional hot plate or electric stove – this.
Key Features
- NOT A TRADITIONAL HOT PLATE OR ELECTRIC STOVE – This induction cooktop (also searched as an induction burner, electric cooktop, or countertop burner) heats compatible cookware directly for faster response. Built as a concave wok system for round-bottom wok cooking—not a flat hot plate electric / electric hot plate surface.
- ADJUST POWER ON-THE-FLY (16 POWER LEVELS) – Choose from 16 power levels for responsive control while cooking. Easily move from gentle simmer and steady warming to high-heat stir-fry without restarting the unit.
- NON-PULSE CONTINUOUS HEATING (LOW-POWER STABILITY) – Many induction units cycle on/off at lower settings, which can cause noticeable heat swings. This system is designed for smoother, more continuous low-power output to support simmering, sauce warming, and long cooking sessions.
- 1700W OUTPUT ON 120V (COUNTERTOP COOKING) – Up to 1700W on standard 120V power for fast searing and stir-fry. Power-based control lets you manage intensity based on ingredients, oil amount, and technique.
- 18-HOUR TIMER FOR LONG COOKING – Built-in 18-hour timer supports long simmering and scheduled shut-off. Ideal for braising-style cooking, slow simmering, and warm-holding when you want time control without constant monitoring.
- CONCAVE WOK-FOCUSED DESIGN – The concave induction surface is built for round-bottom wok cooking. Heat is concentrated where the wok sits for stir-fry and wok-style cooking.
- COOKWARE DETECTION + AUTO RESUME (7-SECOND WINDOW, E1 EXPLAINED) – When cookware is removed, the unit continues operating normally for up to 7 seconds. If cookware remains off longer, the display shows E1. Place compatible cookware back on the surface and heating resumes immediately—no waiting required.
- INDUCTION-COMPATIBLE (MAGNETIC) COOKWARE ONLY – Works with magnetic cookware such as carbon steel, cast iron, and magnetic stainless steel. Non-magnetic aluminum, copper, and glass cookware won’t work unless they have a magnetic base.
- 13.4" NITRIDED CARBON STEEL WOK (NO COATING) – Includes a 13.4" carbon steel wok with a nitrided surface and no chemical coating. With proper seasoning and care, it develops a natural patina that improves performance over time.
- WHAT’S INCLUDED – Induction wok base, 13.4" carbon steel wok, tempered glass lid, stainless steel steaming rack, and user manual.
